Abba Voyage: What you need to know about this concert experience and how to find tickets

Learn all about the groundbreaking London arena show and the best way to book Abba Voyage tickets

Beloved Swedish band Abba is back, and in a way you’ve never seen them before. Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad reunited for this groundbreaking concert featuring their avatars – or “Abbatars” – which deliver all of Abba’s greatest hits while looking just as they did in their 1970s heyday.
Abba teamed up with visual effects specialists Industrial Light & Magic, who have worked on LucasFilm and Marvel movies, and used motion capture technology to create incredibly realistic computer-generated versions of the supergroup’s four members in action.

That amazing quartet of holograms is backed by a live 10-piece band, together performing their beloved pop hits – from Mamma Mia to The Winner Takes It All. It takes place in the custom-built Abba Arena, which features 291 speakers and more than 500 moving lights. It’s a spectacle like no other – and a must-see for all you dancing queens!
Abba Voyage tickets are now available to buy, starting from around £61. For an extra-fun experience you can purchase Dance Floor tickets, which are closer to the stage and give you more room to boogie along. Book your Abba Voyage tickets now with Telegraph Tickets.
Abba Voyage doesn’t have a conventional, rotating cast of actors like a West End musical. Instead you always get to see the super-talented members of Abba performing this special gig – with a cutting-edge twist.
Abba worked with the award-winning contemporary choreographer Wayne McGregor to perfect their moves, and those performances were captured as holograms. The resulting Abbatars then strut their stuff on stage while giving you all the Abba hits you could ever want: think Chiquitita, Fernando, Does Your Mother Know, Lay All Your Love on Me, Voulez-Vous, Thank You for the Music, and more.
The pioneering Abba Voyage required a specially built new venue: the Abba Arena. It’s situated in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London.
Abba Voyage is 90 minutes, without an interval.
Abba Voyage is currently booking to January 5, 2025.
The age recommendation for Abba Voyage is six plus. Children under three will not be allowed into the venue, and anyone aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. The Dance Floor area has an age recommendation of 12+.
The Abba Arena has both wheelchair spaces and seats that a wheelchair user can transfer into, plus a companion seat which can be booked free of charge. The venue also has 10 parking spaces available for blue badge holders, five accessible toilets and one Changing Places toilet.
The Abba Arena also has suitable seating for people with visual impairment and guide dogs are welcome. The venue has a closed loop hearing system, and there are British Sign Language Interpreted performances.
“It’s a mind-blowing hi-tech celebration of some of the greatest pop music ever made, delivered as if you are up close and personal with legendary superstars.” Read the full Telegraph review.
We don’t know the answer for sure, but given that London’s Abba Arena is currently the only place in the world where you can see this exceptional show, it’s bound to have a long life as fans keep travelling from miles away to say thank you for the music.
Yes, you’ll hear the Swedish band singing in this show – even though they’re not technically there in person. The vocals for all the songs were recorded ahead of time, so you’ll get to hear the inimitable sound of Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad singing together. There’s also the fun of a live concert, since the 10-piece band is performing live.
The Telegraph’s reviewer definitely thinks so. He marvelled at the show’s cinematic sweep and celebration of the most uplifting pop ever made. Audiences seem to agree – the show has been packed out every night since opening. Judge for yourself by booking your Abba Voyage tickets and experiencing this once-in-a-lifetime performance.
Either way, you’ll have a blast. The Dance Floor tickets can turbo-boost your night out, since you’re right up close to the stage and you can really channel your inner dancing queen. This is definitely the best way to experience Abba Voyage in a group, as you can all gather together. However, the seats in this bespoke arena have great sight-lines too, and let you catch your breath during this action-packed show.
